EFFECTIVE 15 JUNE 2026
1. Who we are
This website, rtmentoring.com, and the mentoring services offered through it are operated by RT Advisory Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with its registered office at Unit 2A, 17/F, Glenealy Tower, 1 Glenealy, Central, Hong Kong SAR ("we", "us", "our"). Raphael Tressieres is the mentor and primary contact. For any privacy matter, email raphael@tressieres.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry data you submit through the contact form on this website or by email, including your name, email address, school or current role, area of interest and message.
- Guide and mailing-list data you submit when requesting the IBD Networking Playbook, including your name, email address, school or current role, target market and source where available. If you request the guide, we may send the guide, the related welcome sequence and occasional RT Mentoring updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Booking data if you schedule a session through a scheduling link, including your name, email address, time zone, selected time, answers to booking questions and calendar invitation details.
- Mentoring data created during an engagement, including CVs, application materials, session notes, transcripts, recordings made only with your consent, AI-assisted summaries and feedback scorecards.
- Payment data processed by payment providers such as Stripe, Airwallex, PayPal or Wise. We never see or store your full card details. We may receive payment confirmation, name, email address, billing country, amount paid, payment status and limited transaction details needed for accounting and fulfilment.
- Website and advertising data such as page visits, referral source, campaign tags and basic device or browser information, where collected through advertising or measurement tools such as LinkedIn advertising tools or the LinkedIn Insight Tag.
We do not knowingly provide services to anyone under 16. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before booking.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide mentoring services (performance of a contract, or steps prior to a contract).
- To deliver the guide, send the related email sequence and provide occasional RT Mentoring updates (consent where required, and legitimate interests where permitted).
- To process bookings, payments, calendar invitations, reminders and video calls (performance of a contract).
- To prepare session notes, scorecards and follow-up actions after mentoring sessions (performance of a contract and legitimate interests).
- To invoice, keep accounting records, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
- To understand which campaigns, pages and channels are working, including LinkedIn advertising campaigns (legitimate interests, or consent where required).
- To use anonymised testimonials or results in marketing, only with your explicit written consent (consent, withdrawable at any time).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the practice and fulfil the services: FormSubmit for contact-form delivery, MailerLite for guide delivery and email automation, Microsoft 365 for email and documents, Calendly for scheduling, Stripe, Airwallex, PayPal or Wise for payments, Zoom or Google Meet for video conferencing, Hostinger for website hosting, Google Fonts for site fonts, and LinkedIn for advertising measurement where LinkedIn advertising tools are used. Each provider processes data under its own safeguards and, where applicable, our instructions.
5. International transfers
We operate internationally, including Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, UK equivalent mechanisms or other safeguards offered by the provider.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 12 months. Mailing-list records are kept until you unsubscribe or until the list is cleaned for inactivity. Mentoring materials, session notes, transcripts and recordings are kept for up to 24 months after the engagement ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and we are not legally required to keep them. Invoicing, payment and accounting records are kept as required by law, typically up to 7 years. Aggregated campaign and website statistics may be kept for longer where they no longer identify you.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in each email. For any other request, write to raphael@tressieres.com and we will respond within one month where required. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies, advertising and third-party requests
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a standard technical request, including your IP address, to Google when the page loads.
If we use LinkedIn advertising tools, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag, LinkedIn may receive information about your visit, such as the page URL, referring URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamp and campaign interactions. LinkedIn may use this information to help us measure ad performance, understand aggregate professional demographics and, where enabled, retarget LinkedIn members with relevant ads. Reports available to us are generally aggregated and do not identify individual visitors.
Payment, booking and video-call pages hosted by third parties such as Stripe, Calendly and Zoom may set their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Where required, we will ask for consent before non-essential advertising or analytics technologies are used on this website.
9. Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on key accounts where available and access limited to Raphael Tressieres or authorised RT Advisory systems. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we keep the data footprint intentionally limited.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
